I've always taken things apart since I was young, I've always had the facsination with how everything works, early on I managed to land a job at a repair centre where I learnt a lot about the business and honed my skills, from there I joined larger corperations and was shocked at how soul crushing it was! Throughout my years of experience and 10000's of devices repaired, I have learnt how to do it the right way, but more importantly, I've learnt how NOT to do it! I started WeFix after being laid off from my job and to be honest, I had been wanting to branch out on my own for a long time! Well, after months of planning behind the scenes I was ready to launch WeFix Barry Limited towards the end of 2023. New company, better pricing, more transparency, better turnaround and something to make myself proud! When booking in a repair or getting your devices assessed you're dealing with me, Sean! How Does Your No Fix - No Fee, Free Assessment Guarantee work?
It's Easy! If your gadget is faulty and needs a repair, we can normally tell the fault straight away, either from Photos/Videos or in our Barry Location in person. In the event we can't tell what's wrong, you are entered into our Free Assessment policy. We spend some time replicating the fault, finding it and then fixing it, once we are sure what the issue is you get a phone call with the details and cost of repair, if you are unhappy with your quote then the device will be reassembled and returned to you FREE OF CHARGE!
What about No Fix - No Fee?
If your device is booked in for a repair and it turns out that it needs more parts than initially expected, you'll get a phone call with the parts required, the reasoning, lead time (if additional) and an updated quote, if the updated quote is too close or exceeds the device's worth, then there's no pressure for you to proceed. Most additional parts are quoted as close to cost price as possible, remember, we are here to serve you NOT to sell you parts you don't need! Our key ethics are to offer as low cost repairs as feasible and to be as honest and transparent as possible!

How long do you take to complete a repair?Repair lead times are always specified once we have the device and know the fault, if it's a nice and simple repair such as a screen replacement, the estimated repair times are 45-60 minutes, yes, as quick as that! For more complex repairs, estimated lead times are 1-3 days as a maximum, it'll only take longer if we are waiting for parts to arrive from overseas, again, this will always be explained to you once we know the fault. What are your warranty terms and how long does it last?The minimum warranty period we offer is 3 Months on certain parts. The warranty we receive is the warranty we pass on. Our goal is to ensure that you are 100% happy with the completed repair. ALL parts are tested before fitting and after, if for any reason you have any issues with any parts or completed repairs, you are more than welcome to drop the device back into our repair location and we will resolve this as quick as we can! Our warranty covers our fitted parts only, we cannot warrant parts that have not been installed by us, if a previous repair has been completed, whether to our standards or not, we cannot warrant this. If the part/s you have had fitted break from physical or liquid damage, this isn't covered unfortunately as this is classed as insurance and we are not licensed to offer insurance on devices or repairs. What parts do you use?Samsung Phones: For all Samsung devices we ONLY use genuine Samsung parts. Aftermarket low quality parts are much cheaper but they aren't worth the risk! It is not worth the risk to save a few pounds and have a phone that is a genuine risk of not only being faulty but putting your life at risk. Unfortunately, this is a common outcome with low quality parts. iPhones: Apple being Apple do not allow repair shops access to their parts catalogue unless you have an iPhone 14 or newer, not to worry though! We only use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, OEM means that the parts come from the exact same factory as the Apple parts and are sold by the factory instead of Apple. Personally I have used OEM screens on my personal iPhone in the past and I have NOT seen a difference. We've fitted 10,000's of OEM iPhone screens and parts over the years and they never look different. PC's: This depends on the repair/upgrade you have in mind, if your system is a little bit older and needs a repair and the parts aren't in production, we will source either new parts sat in dead stock or ex-display parts. All storage devices are brand new, it's not worth the risk to save £10.00 and endanger every single byte of data. Consoles: Easy one! All console parts are brand new!
